When buying and selling becomes an art!

Because of his family, specially his father Solo Bassoon beetwen (1958 -1998) at the Monaco Philharmonic Orchestra

 

William PETIT started to study music very early at the Conservatory in Monaco with Michel Dubar.

He award the first price, and Prince Rainier III special price in Monaco, after he studied with Raymond Katarzynski (opéra de Paris)

in Boulogne Billancourt

He also Graduated in 1988 with a first price from the Lyon National Supérieur Conservatory with Michel Bequet teacher.

He exerts for many year a carreer as a professional musician in various symphony orchestras.

Like Lyon Opera, Ile de France orchestra, Europe Symphony orchestra, Nice orchestra, Monaco opéra

play with Michel Sardou, Johnny Hallyday, Julien Clerc, Diane Dufresne as a freelance musician

Having always been passionate by ancient musical instruments and their history.

He is regulary consult by musicians for his valuation. He create his business in 1995 and open his online store in 2000

Today, he takes part to the few specialists recognized in France and internationally in this field.

Located close to Paris, in Montreuil / Vincennes, William Petit travels all over France to appraise, buy, sells old musicals instruments

His favorite period is the 18e, even if he recognizes that all periods have their interest…

« 18e period especially passionate me because of richness of instrument making and the variety of instruments that covering this period.

However each period brings its peculiarities »

 

Restoration of musical instruments

He also propose his restoration services for stringed musical instruments, stringed musical instruments, wind, wood and copper

Maintenance and repair of musical instrument of musicians and collectors respond to current needs required by regular use.

The settings, the revisions also require repairing by the intervention of the maker.
